Stringtheory, contemporary documentary

Stringtheory is a not-for-profit arts organisation founded in 2001. We produce incisive work in photography, video and film and represent key areas of social, cultural and environmental change. We have three members and directors: Nick May, photographer and filmmaker; Ben Holland, filmmaker and Nicki Bates, designer.

Our recent major projects include FOODCHAIN, an investigation of the UK fresh food industry and 'Till the Cows Come Home...' which explored the experience of farming families in the aftermath of the 2001 Foot and Mouth Disease epidemic in Cumbria.
